Mechanics[edit | edit source]
A player can only carry one Treasure Item at a time and cannot use other items or sprint at the same time. When dropped, Athena's Treasure items will emit a white glint from far away, making them easier to spot. Treasure Items will float to the top when dropped in Water, however they will start sinking to the bottom after 5 minutes have passed. Treasure dropped on land or on the shoreline will stay in-game virtually forever. Every Athena's Treasure Item can be caught with a Ship's Harpoon.
Emissary Mechanics[edit | edit source]
Any Player Crews sailing as Athena's Fortune Emissaries or Reaper's Bones Emissaries can receive Emissary Grade Reputation for picking up and putting Athena's Fortune Treasure items on their Ship for the first time. Selling these items to the two companies as Emissaries does not give Emissary Grade Reputation, but Emissary Value instead. The higher the Crew's Emissary Grade, the more Gold, Reputation and Emissary Value they receive for selling Athena's Treasure.
Where to Find[edit | edit source]
Athena's Fortune Treasure items are mostly available as rewards from Athena's Fortune Voyages, Athena's Fortune Emissary Quests or Mercenary Voyages for Pirate Legends, however the Chest of Legends can also be gained from completing a Fort of the Damned (Raid) and the new Fort of Fortune vault. All Athena's Treasure items can be stolen and sold, even by Players who are not yet Pirate Legends.
Rewards[edit | edit source]
Athena's Treasure can be sold to the Mysterious Stranger at any Tavern for Gold and Athena's Fortune Reputation. Even though Athena's Fortune as a Trading Company is only accessible to Pirate Legends, any Player Pirate can sell these items to gain Reputation with the Company and gain access to Athena's Fortune Commendations. Athena's Treasure can also be sold to The Servant of the Flame at The Reaper’s Hideout for Gold and Reaper's Bones Reputation instead. The Reaper's Bones Company also has Commendations related to selling Athena's Fortune Treasure items to the Servant.
