Cosmetic Sets

Cosmetic Sets are all the different Cosmetic Customization Theme Sets available in Sea of Thieves. All Clothing, Vanity, Equipment, Weapons and Ship Items can be customized with various themed Cosmetic re-skins.

These are the Item Sets that are unlocked for everyone and are not tied to any specific Trading Company, Event or Commendation.

• Sailor Set - The Default Cosmetic Set that every Player starts out with. Some of the items need to be purchased from the General Clothing Shop.
• General Clothing Set - A collection of Clothing Items not related to any Sets that are available from the General Clothing Shop.

• Bilge Rat Set - The base Bilge Rats Cosmetics Set, available from Outpost Stores.
• Castaway Bilge Rat Set - The secondary Bilge Rats Cosmetics Set, available from Outpost Stores.
• Scurvy Bilge Rat Set - The highest tier Bilge Rats Cosmetic Set, available for a high price from Outpost Stores.
• Rotten Bilge Rat Set - Unique Bilge Rats Clothing and Vanity Set, available from the General Clothing Shop.
• Dirty Rotten Bilge Rat Set - Expensive Black Market recolour of the Rotten Bilge Rat Set.

• Hunter Set - Unique Dark Coloured Cosmetic Set available for everyone at Outpost Stores.
• Shark Hunter Set - Exclusive Ship Set variant of the Hunter Set, available for everyone from any Shipwright Shop.
• Mercenary Set - Green, gold and brown variant of the Black Dog Set, partially available for purchase from Outpost Stores and the Black Market. Some Set Items were available for a limited time.
• Parrot Set - Unique Parrot themed Set available for everyone at Outpost Stores.

Merchant Alliance Sets

These sets are thematically tied to the Merchant Alliance Trading Company, with some pieces requiring a certain Reputation level with the company to become available.

• Admiral Set - The basic blue Admiral Cosmetic Set, available for purchase at Outpost Stores.
• Grand Admiral Set - Secondary Admiral Cosmetic Set, available for purchase at Outpost Stores.
• Ceremonial Admiral Set - Red variant of the basic Admiral Set, unlocked for purchase at Outpost Stores after reaching certain Reputation Ranks with the Merchant Alliance.
• Executive Admiral Set - Unique Admiral Clothing and Vanity Set, available from the General Clothing Shop.
• Redcoat Executive Admiral Set - Expensive Black Market recolour of the Executive Admiral Set.
• Merchant Alliance Set - Cosmetics obtained from, or directly related to the Merchant Alliance Trading Company.

Order of Souls Sets

These sets are thematically tied to the Order of Souls Trading Company, with some pieces requiring a certain Reputation level with the company to become available. Despite the cosmetics being named after the Sea Dogs, these Cosmetic Sets are separate from the Sea Dog Trading Company.

• Sea Dog Set - The basic red and green Sea Dog Cosmetic Set, available for purchase at Outpost Stores.
• Ruffian Sea Dog Set - Secondary Sea Dog Cosmetic Set, available for purchase at Outpost Stores.

These sets are thematically tied to the Gold Hoarders Trading Company, with some pieces requiring a certain Reputation level with the company to become available.

• Imperial Sovereign Set - Secondary Sovereign Cosmetic Set, available for purchase at Outpost Stores.
• Stonewall Imperial Sovereign Set - Expensive Black Market recolour of the Imperial Sovereign Set Clothing and Vanity items.
• Royal Sovereign Set - Green and gold variant of the basic Sovereign Set, unlocked for purchase at Outpost Stores after reaching certain Reputation Ranks with the Gold Hoarders.
• Majestic Sovereign Set - Unique Sovereign Clothing and Vanity Set, available from the General Clothing Shop.
• Gold Hoarders Set - Cosmetics themed after the Gold Hoarder Trading Company and their leader, the Gold Hoarder.

Hunter's Call Sets

The following Sets are thematically tied to The Hunter's Call Trading Company.

• The Killer Whale Set - Cosmetic Set related to Merrick's sunk Ship The Killer Whale, obtained as rewards for Promotions at The Hunter's Call Trading Company.
• The Hunter's Call Set - Cosmetic Items unlocked through The Hunter's Call Commendations.
• Ruby Splashtail Set - A Pirate Emporium exclusive Set themed around the most common fish, the Ruby Splashtail.

Glorious Sea Dog Arena Sets

The following Sets are thematically tied to the Sea Dogs and the Arena Game Mode.

• Glorious Sea Dog Set - The base Cosmetic Set related to the Arena Game Mode. Partially available at Outpost Stores, partially unlocked through The Sea Dogs Commendations.
• Triumphant Sea Dog Set - Blue and silver variant of the Glorious Sea Dog Set, unlocked through The Sea Dogs Commendations.
• Courage Set - Lion themed Cosmetics tied to the time-limited Arena themed Competition of Courage Event.

Reaper's Bones Sets

These sets are thematically tied to the Reaper's Bones Trading Company, with some pieces requiring a certain Reputation level with the company to become available.

• Reaper's Bones Set - Cosmetics obtained from, or directly related to the Reaper's Bones Trading Company.
• Reaper’s Heart Set - A Pirate Emporium exclusive Set, supposedly designed by the Reaper's Bones

Legendary Sets

The following Sets are thematically tied to the Athena's Fortune and everything related to Pirate Legends.

• Legendary Set - The Pirate Legend Set. The Clothing and Vanity items are provided upon reaching the Pirate Legend Status. The rest of the Set items are purchased from the Athena's Fortune Hideout, some of which are unlocked through earning Athena's Fortune Commendations.
• Golden Legendary Set - Golden variant of the Legendary Set, rewarded to all Players who became Pirate Legends during the first year of Sea of Thieves.
• Ghost Set - Unique glowing dark green Cosmetic Set available for Pirate Legends. Purchased from the Athena's Fortune Hideout. Ghost Set Items are locked behind Athena's Fortune Reputation Levels and Commendations.

Tall Tales Sets

The following Sets can be unlocked by completing Tall Tales and related Commendations.

• Morningstar Set - Cosmetics themed after the Morningstar Ship & Crew.
• Briggsy’s Set - Cosmetics themed after Captain Briggsy.
• Wild Rose Set - Cosmetics themed after Rose and George. Largely made available at the Black Market for Doubloons.
• Pirate Lord Set - Cosmetics themed after the Pirate Lord.
• Gold Hoarders Set - Cosmetics themed after the Gold Hoarder Trading Company and their leader, the Gold Hoarder.

Content Update Sets

The following Sets are related to past Content Updates. Some of these Sets were time-limited to the Update itself, whereas some of the sets can still be unlocked via completing Commendations.

• Kraken Set - Cosmetics themed after the Kraken, unlocked for purchase at Outpost Stores for completing Bilge Rats Commendations.
• Ocean Crawler Set - Cosmetics themed after Crabs, unlocked for purchase at Outpost Stores for completing Bilge Rats Commendations.
• Mercenary Set - Green, Gold and Brown variant of the Black Dog Set, partially available for purchase from Outpost Stores and the Black Market. Some Set Items were available for a limited time during various Mercenary Voyage Content Updates.
• Bone Crusher Set - Cosmetics themed after Skeletons and Skeleton Ships. Partially available for purchase at Outpost Stores for completing Bilge Rats Commendations. The rest of the Set Items were only available for a limited time during Cursed Sails and Skeleton Thrones.
• Forsaken Ashes Set - Cosmetics themed after The Devil's Roar and the Forsaken Ashes Alliance. Partially available for purchase at Outpost Stores for completing Bilge Rats Commendations. Partially available at the Black Market for Doubloons. The rest of the Set Items were only available for a limited time during Forsaken Shores.
• Ferryman of the Damned Set - Cosmetics themed around the Ferry of the Damned and the Ferryman, made available for purchase at Outpost Stores, with some items being unlocked after completing Fort of the Damned Commendations. Not to be confused with the exclusive Ferryman Set.
• Ashen Dragon Set - Cosmetics themed after The Ashen Dragon and its Crew. Available for purchase at Outpost Stores and the Black Market. Most of the items are unlocked for purchase after completing Ashen Treasures Commendations.
• Legends of the Sea Set - Tattoo Sets themed after infamous Player Pirates, unlocked for purchase from Umbra for completing Legends of the Sea Commendations.

• The Hungering One Set - Cosmetics themed after The Hungering One Megalodon. Available for a limited time during The Hungering Deep.
• Mercenary Set - Green, Gold and brown variant of the Black Dog Set, partially available for purchase from Outpost Stores and the Black Market. Some Set Items were available for a limited time during various Mercenary Voyage Content Updates.
