The Emerald Cursed Mermaid Statue, or Green Mermaid Statue, is a type of an environmental hazard added with The Sunken Curse Content Update.
Mechanics[]
Emerald Cursed Mermaid Statues can be found on the shorelines of Islands (including Uncharted Islands, but excluding Forts, Outposts and Seaposts). The Curse of these statues will constantly damage the player whenever they get too close to it. The Green variant is hardier than the Blue Statue, but weaker than the Red Statue.
The Emerald statues requires approximately 20 Cutlass combos or 10-12 shots with an Eye of Reach to be destroyed. The other weapons are yet to be tested. These Statues can also be damaged with Cannonballs and Gunpowder Barrels. Due to its health pool and constant damage output, it is advisable to take this statue on with at least two players. The statue can be destroyed solo, but Food should be taken as the time it takes to kill an Emerald Statue is enough to kill a player from the curse.
Rewards[]
When destroyed, the Emerald Cursed Mermaid Statue will release the Emerald Gemstone embedded in its core. The Emerald Mermaid Gem can be sold to any Company (with the exception of the Sea Dogs) for 1500 Gold.
