Emissary Ledgers are Leaderboards for Trading Company Emissaries in Sea of Thieves. Emissary Ledgers compile a high score list of the busiest Emissaries of each Trading Company. Each Ledger will be open for one month, closing at the end of a month and rewarding all players in the highest Tiers.
Ledgers
Each Trading Company's Emissary Ledger can be browsed under each Company's page under the Reputation Tab in the Pirate Menu. There are Ledgers for the following Companies, each with their own titles and tiers: Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, Merchant Alliance, Athena's Fortune, Reaper's Bones. Under a Company's Ledger menu, Players can see their Emissary Value, tier placement and global position, the remaining Emissary Value needed to reach the next tier and the top ranking Player Pirates of each tier. The Ledger displays the Gamertags of Players. Players can also see ledgers on the official website at the Emissary Leaderboards page.
Gaining Emissary Value
Emissary Ledger leaderboards rank Player Pirates by their total Emissary Value gained during the active Ledger. Emissary Value can only be gained by selling Company-related Treasure Items to the Trading Company Representatives while flying their Emissary Flag as Emissaries. Each Treasure Item has a set Emissary Value number, which will be added to the total Emissary Value of the Company, when sold. Emissary Value is given to all members of the Crew. The higher a Crew's Emissary Grade, the more Emissary Value is received for selling Treasure.
The following table shows the Emissary Value increases for each Emissary Grade on the Ship:

Tiers
Each Trading Company's Ledger is divided into 4 tiers, dividing all the Player Pirates who have sold a Treasure item to the Trading Company's Representatives as Emissaries into four quarters. To progress through these Tiers, Players have to gain enough Emissary Value to surpass the top emissary of each tier. All Players who are in the first two top tiers at the close of a Ledger will be rewarded upgraded version of the Company's Sails.
Gold Hoarders Ledger
The Gold Hoarders Emissary Tiers are as follows:
- Tier 1 (bottom 17%) - Castaway
- Tier 2 (bottom 17-42%) - Seafarer
- Tier 3 (top 58-33%) - Marauder | Rewards the Gold Hoarders Marauder Sails at the close of a Ledger
- Tier 4 (top 33%) - Golden Captain | Rewards the Gold Hoarders Golden Captain Sails at the close of a Ledger
Order of Souls Ledger
The Order of Souls Emissary Tiers are as follows:
- Tier 1 (bottom 17%) - Apprentice
- Tier 2 (bottom 17-42%) - Mercenary
- Tier 3 (top 58-33%) - Chief | Rewards the Order of Souls Chief Sails at the close of a Ledger
- Tier 4 (top 33%) - Grandee | Rewards the Order of Souls Grandee Sails at the close of a Ledger
Merchant Alliance Ledger
The Merchant Alliance Emissary Tiers are as follows:
- Tier 1 (bottom 17%) - Sailor
- Tier 2 (bottom 17-42%) - Cadet
- Tier 3 (top 58-33%) - Commander | Rewards the Merchant Alliance Commander Sails at the close of a Ledger
- Tier 4 (top 33%) - Merchant Admiral | Rewards the Merchant Alliance Merchant Admiral Sails at the close of a Ledger
Reaper's Bones Ledger
The Reaper's Bones Emissary Tiers are as follows:
- Tier 1 (bottom 17%) - Follower
- Tier 2 (bottom 17-42%) - Servant
- Tier 3 (top 58-33%) - Keeper | Rewards the Reaper’s Bones Keeper Sails at the close of a Ledger
- Tier 4 (top 33%) - Master | Rewards the Reaper’s Bones Master Sails at the close of a Ledger
Athena's Fortune Ledger
The Athena's Fortune Emissary Tiers are as follows:
- Tier 1 (bottom 17%) - Seeker
- Tier 2 (bottom 17-42%) - Voyager
- Tier 3 (top 58-33%) - Guardian | Rewards the Athena’s Fortune Guardian Sails at the close of a Ledger
- Tier 4 (top 33%) - Legend | Rewards the Athena’s Fortune Legend Sails at the close of a Ledger
