The Devil's Roar awaits - a region with explosive potential for adventure!
Forsaken Shores was the third time-limited campaign Content Update. It was added in the 1.3.0 patch.
Sail to Forsaken Shores in the third free update for Sea of Thieves. A long-lost region has been rediscovered: a perilous land known as The Devil’s Roar. Crew up and go from sea dog to scout in this strange, treacherous place where the world itself is your enemy. Stand fearlessly before The Devil's Roar as it becomes a permanent new part of your adventure!
The Devil's Roar - A new biome featured in Forsaken Shores. Devil's Roar is a deadly stretch of ocean pockmarked with volcanic elements, threatening all ships that pass through. There are caves dotted around the area, but with steam vents and falling rocks, nowhere is truly safe. Stay alert for lava, eruptions, and gushing geysers that threaten pirates and ships alike. In this land where danger is around every corner, a pirate can earn a pretty penny from lucrative Devil’s Roar voyages.
Rowboats - Navigating these new hazards can be tricky in a large ship, but the new Rowboat is the perfect way to sneak ashore. Put your arms to work, pirate, and use this nippy little vessel to slip through hazards, avoid sharks and carry cargo.
Cargo Runs (Came with the following Week 3 update) - Deliver cargo safely to islands, Seaposts or Outposts for a handsome reward – provided you can keep the cargo safe and in good condition. If your cargo spoils, your rewards will soon follow.
