The Gold Hoarders Medallion is a special type of Medallion acquired as a Quest Item during the Legend of the Sunken Kingdom Voyage. It is used to unlock Forbidden Key Alcoves containing Forbidden Keys.
Mechanics[]
Gold Hoarder Medallions function similarly to Vault Keys in that they act as keys to doors required to progress the voyage. They may be placed on circular golden receptacles inside Siren Shrines to unlock Forbidden Key Alcoves. After an Alcove door closes, the Medallion can be interacted with to open the door again as long as the Legend of the Sunken Kingdom Voyage is active.
Where to Find[]
Three Gold Hoarders Medallions are obtained during the Legend of the Sunken Kingdom Voyage. They can be found at the ends of trails of gold coins leading away from Forbidden Key Alcoves within the Shrine of Hungering, Shrine of Ocean's Fortune, and Shrine of Ancient Tears.
Trivia[]
