The Treasure Voyage is one type of Voyage players can embark upon in Sea of Thieves.
Treasure Voyages are acquired from Gold Hoarders. During a Treasure Voyage, players receive Treasure Maps of Islands with red "X" marks where buried Treasure Chests are located.
Players locate the Island by matching its shape to the islands shown on their Ship's Map Table, then travel to it.
Players then use the map to find the locations marked with "X" and use their Shovels to dig and find the Chests. When a player's Shovel strikes a buried Treasure Chest, all crew members are alerted and can assist in digging up the Chest, so that it can then be carried back to the Ship.
The Treasure Chest is then returned to a Gold Hoarder at an Outpost in exchange for varying amounts of Gold, depending on the Treasure Chest type.
Notes
- Cost varies depending on the Voyage type. Players with higher Reputations at a particular Company have access to more expensive and longer Voyages with more valuable loot.
