Gold pouches are small treasures found through emergent gameplay.
Mechanics
The Gold Pouch looks like a small burlap bag with a rope tied around the tip. The gold pouch may be inspired by the icons found when purchasing gold from the Bilge Rats or as Season Rewards.
After a player interacts with a Gold Pouch, they will be rewarded with anywhere between 160-600 gold depending on what dropped the pouch. This gold is shared between Crew Members and Crew Alliances.
Large Gold Pouches are identical to Gold Pouches, but they reward 1000 gold instead of 160-600. Large Gold Pouches have the same model and behaviour but can only be found in Ashen Chests.
Obtaining
Gold Pouches can be found in quantities of 1-4 from Skeleton Captains or Skeleton Lords. Defeating Emergent Skeleton Captains or Order of Souls Bounty Voyages will always reward Gold Pouches.
Ghostly Gold Pouches also have a chance to be dropped from emergent Phantoms.
