Summary
The Masked Stranger is a mysterious figure who is conducting archaeological research on Reaper artifacts. She rescued newfound lover Stitcher Jim from being marooned in The Devil's Roar, but prefers to stay silent among anyone. She is currently found behind closed doors at Wanda’s Hideout on Wanderer's Refuge.

Trivia
- It was highly speculated that Amaranta may have been the Masked Stranger in disguise. This was due to similar features on the mask, primarily Amaranta's beauty mark, and the fact that she left her post outside The Glorious Sea Dog Tavern during the Masked Stranger's introduction in Smuggler’s Fortune. However, Amaranta returned to her post during Fort of the Damned while the Masked Stranger could still be found travelling with Stitcher Jim.
