The Mysterious Ancient Key is a large triangular Key acquired as a Quest Item during The Legend of the Sunken Kingdom voyage. It is used to unlock the hidden burial chamber within the Shrine of Ancient Tears.
Mechanics[]
The Mysterious Ancient Key can be placed in the triangular hole in the center of a stone alrar within the Shrine of Ancient Tears to unlock a hidden burial chamber containing skeletal remains and the journal 'War Below the Waves'.
Where to find[]
The Mysterious Ancient Key is obtained during the Legend of the Sunken Kingdom Voyage. It is always found inside a Forbidden Coral Chest, which can be unlocked using three Forbidden Keys found throughout the voyage.
Interaction[]
Using Primary Interact (R/
) on the Key allows players to read the following inscription:
An inscription reads 'At the Shrine of Ancient Tears, within the secret chamber, her curse awaits...'
Trivia[]
- The key emits a quiet ringing noise similar to a singing glass or glass armonica.
- Similar stone altars with triangular holes exist in sea caves under The Reaper's Hideout and Uncharted Island (N-13).
