The Sailor Set is the default set of Cosmetics in Sea of Thieves. Every Pirate starts out with Sailor version of every Tool, Weapon, Ship part and a large selection of Clothing and Vanity Items. All Sailor items have a basic bland and rough white and brown look to them, with most of the Equipment and weapons being made of unflourished Wood and Metal. Additionally, Players also start out with a handful of Underwear, Hair Styles, Beards and Tattoos.
The Sailor set is what essentially makes Sea of Thieves unique as a game, because every player starts out with virtually every item in the game, with the only upgrades being Cosmetic purchases. This guarantees that Sea of Thieves players are all at the same level. The only Items in the Sailor Set that have to be purchased are the prosthetics and different mono-coloured Sails for the Ship.
