The Gold Hoarders is one of the three Companies available in Sea of Thieves.
A Gold Hoarder is a standard vendors located at Outposts. This is where Treasure Chests are turned in by players in exchange for Gold.
Items sold
- Several Voyages (the amount of riddles and maps inside a voyage and their price is based on your promotion)
- Gold Hoarder Shovel (requires Gold Picaroon promotion)
- Gold Hoarder Compass (requires Gold Swabbie promotion)
Promotions
The Gold Hoarder Promotions are one of the leveling paths in Sea of Thieves. They are available when the player has reached a minimum Gold Hoarder level, which is unlocked by paying a certain amount of Gold.
New Gold Hoarder levels can be obtained by selling more Treasure Chests to the Gold Hoarder.
Each new level unlocks more items available from the Gold Hoarder, including better Quest for Gold quests, to find more (and rarer) Treasure Chests.
