Season Eight is the eighth season in Sea of Thieves. It began on November 22nd, 2022^[2].

In addition to regularly earned Renown, the Season Eight Trials offer an additional boost of Renown.

Plunder Pass[]

Purchasing the Plunder Pass will grant players access to Pirate Emporium items and additional Ancient Coins as Season Eight Rewards. These cosmetic items are early-access items that will be released at a later date after the Season ends.

Rewards[]

Base rewards for all levels are available for free to all players, with additional rewards for Pirate Legends and premium rewards for Plunder Pass players.

New Hairstyles and Beards

The Outpost clothing shop now offers players hairstyles and beards from the Forsaken Ashes set, with the Forsaken Ashes Singed Hair and Forsaken Ashes Frazzled Hair as well as the new Forsaken Ashes Beard. All can be purchased with players’ hard-earned gold.
For pirates looking for a ‘cooler’ look, the Up ‘n’ Down Hair, Topknot Hair and Craggy Beard available from the clothing shops may be more their style.
