Festival of Giving (2020)		Season Two

Season One is the first season in Sea of Thieves. It started on January 28, 2021 and ended on April 15, 2021.

Seasonal Progression

Renown

Renown is the measure of progression in a Season. Renown can be earned passively through normal gameplay such as visiting islands, collecting treasure, and battling skeletons. Trials can be done to earn an extra amount of Renown. With enough Renown, a player will progress their Renown Levels and unlock rewards.

Trials

Season One Trials are specific tasks that can be done to earn additional Renown to a player's seasonal progression, allowing them to level up quicker. There are 3 types of Trials each providing different boosts: Green (small), Blue (medium), and Purple (large).

Plunder Pass

Purchasing the Plunder Pass allows players the chance to earn additional Pirate Emporium items as Season Rewards. These items are a mix of current stock, and early-access items that will be released to the Pirate Emporium at a later date after the Season ends.

The Plunder Pass can be bought for 999  Ancient Coins from the Pirate Emporium. It is also available from the Microsoft Store and Steam Item Store. Players can purchase the Plunder Pass at any point during the season and will unlock rewards for any Levels reached prior to purchase.

Rewards

Base rewards for all levels are available for free to all players, with additional rewards for Pirate Legends and premium rewards for Plunder Pass players.

• The Plunder Pass for Season One doesn't include   Ancient Coins as premium rewards.

Champions of Souls

February 4th - February 18th, 2021

An Order of Souls themed event tasking players to take on Ashen Lords, Ashen Guardians, Key Masters, Skeleton Lords, Ghost Ships, and more to earn Soul Fragments which reward Order of Souls weapons.

Festival of Fishing

Main article: Festival of Fishing

February 25th - March 18th, 2021

A Hunter's Call themed event tasking players to complete Fishing voyages and catch a variety of fish to earn Fishing Rod rewards and special titles.

Vault Raiders

Main article: Vault Raiders

March 25th - April 15th, 2021

A Gold Hoarders themed event tasking players to collect certain types of chests or complete certain actions to gain Favour with the Trading Company. Doing so will earn player's Gold Hoarders Cutlass, Pistol, Eye of Reach, Blunderbuss, and a special Invader of Glittering Vaults title.

Twitch Drops

Watching Sea of Thieves Partners on Twitch will reward players with new Gilded Phoenix Set items.
