Ship Customisation items are cosmetic options for players' ships. Most ship customisation items are purchased from the Shipwright Shop, while others may be obtained from other sources such as time-limited events, exclusive rewards, or the Pirate Emporium. Any items earned by progressing through Milestones on a captained ship are considered Decorations, which are exclusive only to captains. Ships can be customised via the Ship Customisation Chest.

- Cannon - Sits on either side of the ship and used to attack other ships or enemies.
- Cannon Flares - A coloured puff of smoke emitted when a cannon is fired.
- Capstan - Used to raise and lower the ship's anchor.
- Figurehead - A carved, decorative piece at the very front of the ship.
- Flag - Changed from the flag box atop the crow's nest.
- Hull - The wooden base of the ship.
- Sails - The cloth that controls the ship's speed when raised or lowered.
- Wheel - Used to steer the ship's.
