The Skull of Destiny is a type of Athena's Fortune Treasure in Sea of Thieves.
Mechanics[]
The Skull of Destiny holds the various Flames of Fate and can act as a Ritual Skull so it can be used to activate the Fort of the Damned. When held, it can also be used similarly to a Lantern. The Primary Use button will cycle through the six Flames of Fate; this can also be activated by approaching a placed Skull of Destiny and following the "Change Flame Color" prompt. The Skull of Destiny, unlike most treasure, is sold to Larinna in front of any Tavern for 1000 gold.

Notes[]
- The Skull of Destiny creates an area of light around it according to its current flame colour and can be used to make Shadows of Fate vulnerable.
- Changing the Skull of Destiny's flame colour will cycle through the Flames of Fate in the order of the statues in the Fort of the Damned.
- Once placed on the Skeleton in the Fort of the Damned cage to start the ritual, the Skull of Destiny will disappear and will not be retrievable.
