The Servant of the Flame is a Reaper's Bones NPC who was introduced with the March 2020 Ships of Fortune Content Update along with the Trading Company in Sea of Thieves. The Servant of the Flame's replaced the Masked Stranger or Wanda on The Reaper’s Hideout once the fortified Company grounds were set up. The Servant is the official representative of the Reaper's Bones Trading Company, accepting any and all Treasure, sending Emissaries on the seas to sink opposing Company Ships and generally representing everything "true piracy". Player Pirates can also purchase Reaper's Bones Promotions and Reaper's Bones Set Cosmetics from the Servant.

Lore

Very little is currently known about the Servant of the Flame, not even their gender or previous identity. It can be assumed that the Servant is a Skeleton as the Legendary Reaper Figurehead representing a Reaper's Bones Emissary without a Mask on having a Skeletal face and a Red Eye.

The Servant's ties to the resurrected Captain Flameheart are fairly obvious, despite his name never being uttered by the Servant themselves. The Servant represents everything that Flameheart's will wishes for and wishes to oppose everything Flameheart finds weak and unworthy. Additionally, the Company's insignia features a Goblet, which can allude to the Goblet that cursed Flameheart into a Skeleton Lord.

Sells Reaper’s Bones Set Items for Pirates who have bought Promotions.

What is an Emissary?

Emissaries are those pirates who wish to fully represent us on the seas.
When you become an Emissary, you will be acting in our name. Be fearless and proud!
You'll earn greater rewards for your prizes wilst you're an Emissary. You may wear our garments, too, so our reputation spreads.
Seek out the Emissaries of other Companies and take their flags as trophies! Show them the folly of their ways.

The official promotional image of The Servant is called "Sarwan.jpg", indicating that the Servant may be Wanda or Masked Stranger, who was the previous Reaper's Representative at The Reaper’s Hideout.
The Servant has an unique Cutlass.

-However, this may not even be him. For the figurehead is but a statue. There is a very small theory that he is a human. It's so small it's likely you haven't heard about it. His gloves show a human finger, not a skeleton one. It's not a very solid theory, but it does exist
